Clients: Post-renovation semi-detached | Private residential | Sheffield S11 | UK

Design: MCGS

The brief

Following nine months of renovation and construction the clients have turned their attention to re-designing the garden. With young children they are looking for a wildlife garden, with clear and safe circulation routes, with space for ball games and Forest School-style activities. For the adults they are keen on a social entertaining space, with outdoor cooking, fire pit, and drought resistant planting. They want a garden that also reflects the history and context of the local area, which is on the border between the national park and Sheffield city outskirts.

The Design

Currently the site survey has been completed and design work is in progress. Initial site survey mock ups of the current garden are on the right. Further images and plans to follow soon.
