The MCGS signature process:
Discovery
We meet you on site and listen to your hopes and aspirations for your garden space and how it could enhance your life and that of your friends and family.
We start to understand your design aesthetic, and the potential of the architecture and your particular ecological and social setting.
Concepts and Moods
We drill into the details with rigorous site analysis and ecological reviews.
With sketches and mood boards we will start to work with you on design concepts, planting and colour palettes, and agree the key pillars that will create the garden atmosphere that you want.
Masterplan
We finalise the design with a set of 2D and 3D visuals that will bring the design to life, along with planting plans and other construction detailing.
Construction and long term legacy
Handover of the plans to constructors, artisan craftspeople and nurseries with a bespoke solution for each project.
MCGS can also be retained in an advisory capacity, and support a long term maintenance approach with your gardener or keen family member who will sustain the legacy of the garden.
MCGS will also be happy to visit a few times each year on request to discuss the planting and areas of ongoing work and improvement.
Additional services:
For projects that do not require the full re-design package, for example if you are only developing a smaller area of garden, or you want only planting advice, then MCGS will be happy to work with you and provide a quote.
