The brief

A couple requested a planting plan for a raised bed at the front of their property. They were keen to retain the small trees and wanted to fill in the gaps with wildlife-friendly layered planting to break up the otherwise hard landscaping of the driveway. Whilst only measuring around 5m in length, they were keen to cram in as many planting variations and ecological habitats as possible. They planned to use bird feeders and bug hotels to increase biodiversity. The couple also requested MCGS both source and plant up the space once the design has been agreed.

The Design

In progress. Currently the site survey has been completed and design work is in progress. Initial site survey mock up of the current front garden raised bed is right and below. Further images and plans to follow soon.
